Dermaplaning is an exfoliation technique designed to mechanically strip away superficial dead skin cells. It is also effective in removing fine villous facial hairs (or peach fuzz) and enhancing the texture of your skin.
Using a sterile surgical blade, your clinician will gently exfoliate the outer layer of dead skin cells and villous hairs. Through this precise, delicate technique, you will immediately notice a new silky softness to your skin.

Dermaplaning can accomplish many of the same goals as microdermabrasion without aggravating conditions such as rosacea. As with microdermabrasion, this treatment can significantly improve the effectiveness of chemical peels and augment the efficacy of your medically-supervised home skincare program by enhancing product absorption.
