Browlift
Overview / Procedure FAQs / Post-Operative Instructions
Lines around the eyes and on the forehead are best softened or erased with a brow or forehead lift. Even the slightest lifting of the brow can help you appear more youthful and rested, eliminating the heaviness that can overwhelm the twinkle in your eyes.

An upper eyelid lift is often performed concurrently to enhance your results. Men tend to have more pronounced frown muscles, which can give the impressions that you are constantly, angry or stressed. As an addition to the browlift, Dr. Tanya Atagi can also excise those muscles, so they are no longer active.

The most common browlift performed by Dr. Atagi is the endoscopic browlift. During this procedure, two tiny incisions will be made within the hairline. A biodegradable implant called an endotine will then help tighten and lift the sagging muscle and skin of the forehead. This procedure is generally done under general anesthesia at an outpatient facility. It can take between 1.5 to 2 hours.

During your initial consultation with your board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Tanya Atagi will discuss your goals and options with you. For some with receding hairlines, this may not be the best approach to achieving your goals. In such cases, Dr. Atagi can suggest other options, including Botox® injections, which will smooth out the deep creases that form across the forehead, as well as provide a natural looking lift to your eyebrows.

In the Know:
More and more men are using Botox® to minimize deeper creases and wrinkles. It's quick, easy, and undetectable. And surprisingly, Botox can significantly reduce underarm sweating, ridding you of those embarrassing underarm spots and stains. You'll feel like a new man at meetings, giving presentations, or even, walking down the aisle!
