Don’t be afraid to bring a list of questions with you to your consultation, that’s why you’re there.
Here are some helpful questions but don’t be afraid to add your own:
- Am I a good candidate for this procedure?
- I want to look like [insert your desired result.] Is this realistic?
- What are the risks?
- How long/involved is the recovery?
Then really listen. Take notes if you won’t remember.
Your plastic surgeon should be pleased to answer your questions and provide you with information. At the end of your consultation don’t feel obligated to immediately schedule your date. Take some time to think about it, but be sure to schedule in advance.
Now that you’ve done the footwork you can feel confident that your plastic surgeon is qualified deliver optimal results. Perhaps no miracles but certainly your best you.
