About Dr. Atagi

As the face of Atagi Plastic Surgery and Skin Aesthetics, Dr. Tanya Atagi is known for her artistic mentality toward plastic surgery, which provides beautiful results to both men and women on a daily basis. She combines her passion for aesthetics with expert training and years of practice for an undeniably unique patient experience.

Dr. Atagi’s journey began in Stanford University’s engineering department as she pursued a BS in product design engineering and cultivated a lifelong interest in technical innovation. From there, her fascination with art and fashion led to a second BA in art design. It wasn’t until Dr. Atagi earned a patent for building a revolutionary medical device that she recognized medicine as a means to integrate her diverse and specialized passions. It is this combination of aesthetic and technical studies that serves as the methodology behind Atagi Plastic Surgery and Skin Aesthetics today.

After completing medical school at Stanford, Dr. Atagi received her plastic surgery training from the Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University in Saint Louis, followed by specialized fellowship training in Denver. She is board certified by the American Society of Plastic Surgery and has published multiple papers on a wide range of topics including nerve regeneration, implantable medical devices, and breast enhancement and the safety of implants.

Dr. Tanya Atagi has been honored by her peers as “Top Doctor” in Denver’s own 5280 magazine for seven years.
