Happy New Year! If the past year has taught us anything, it’s that self-care during difficult times is so important. When’s the last time you modified your skin care routine? Had a facial? Addressed a beauty or wellness concern? Or really took the time to care for YOU? If your answer is “I can’t remember,” then you and your skin are due for some much-needed renewal and rejuvenation.
There’s nothing we love more than to see our patients filled with joy after achieving softer, healthier, more youthful looking skin. Discover skin rejuvenation at Atagi and let us know how we can make your radiant new skin a reality in 2022! Here’s a closer look at three of our skin renewing treatments:
Microneedling
As we age, our skin naturally begins to slow down the production of collagen and elastin, leading to a dull, wrinkled complexion. But with minimally invasive microneedling, you can harness your skin’s natural healing ability to rejuvenate and revitalize for a younger, more radiant look without surgery or downtime. Here’s how it works: By creating thousands of tiny “micro-injuries” in the surface of the skin, microneedling triggers an increase in collagen production as the skin heals. Microneedling can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, dull skin, stretch marks, pore size and more. You’ll begin to see improvements after only a few weeks, with optimal results after a series of three or more treatments.
Chemical peels
For anti-aging results delivered with minimal to no downtime, we proudly offer medical-grade chemical peels to revitalize your skin and promote a more evenly toned radiance. We put your individual concerns first, so to provide the best results, we offer a range of chemical peels with varying intensities:
- Light chemical peels, known as “lunchtime peels,” can quickly exfoliate the top layer of skin, removing dead and damaged skin cells for a smoother and brighter look with minimal downtime.
- More intense chemical peels reach deeper layers of skin to correct pigmentation concerns, acne, clogged or enlarged pores, and may involve more downtime.
Chemical peels are safe for almost every skin type, and you can start to see glowing results after just a few days. For optimal results, we recommend a series of peels, or pairing your chemical peel with another skin rejuvenation treatment, like dermaplaning.
Dermaplaning
We love combining treatments to increase your results. Dermaplaning is a gentle, no-downtime treatment, ideal when combined with chemical peels or other skin rejuvenation treatments. A dermaplaning treatment can also do wonders on its own, providing advanced exfoliation to achieve a smooth, soft facial appearance. During a dermaplaning treatment, we will apply a sterile surgical blade to gently exfoliate the outermost layer of your skin, lightly scraping dead and damaged skin cells as well as the fine vellus hairs, or “peach fuzz,” that can create a rough or uneven texture. Dermaplaning can also be used to enhance product absorption and prime skin for flawless makeup application. Best of all, you’ll see immediate results following treatment, and any redness that may occur should subside within a few hours.
